The smell of the corn on a cool summer morning as you drive by a farmer's field.
The song of the wren sitting on the front porch.
The purr of your kitty when she finds out you were there all the time.

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So He put His arms around you
And whispered "come to Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
And a cure was not to be
So He put His arms around you
And whispered "come to Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Neither rich nor poor...
See how the Lillies flourish white and fair
And how the Ravens Fed from Heaven are.
Thou ne'er distrust thy God for clothes or bread
Whilst the Lillies flourish and the Fowls are fed.
A man that doth on Riches set his mind
Strives to take hold of Shadows and the Wind.
Therefore with food and raiment thou contented be
Ask not for Riches nor for Poverty.
